It’s a funny thing to distill who you are and what you’re all about in just a few sentences. But here goes . . .
First and foremost, I’m a wife and a mom to two amazing kids. I have a slight obsession with Crossfit, and can usually be found in the gym at some point during the day. I love to cook but I really love to bake. And I’m quite happy, when given the chance, to putter in my garden.
A few years ago, just a few months after giving birth to my daughter, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour (a trigeminal schwannoma to be precise). But, thanks to an absolutely amazing surgeon, the tumour’s gone, my prognosis is good, and so many wonderful things have happened as a result/since my diagnosis, that I can’t help but be a little bit thankful for the experience.
So that’s me in a nutshell . . . but I’m sure lots more will come out as I continue to share my scribbles here.
PS I rely heavily on the use of the ellipsis . . .
